He Has Overcome The World

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭33‬ NKJV)

There is nothing like the peace that God gives us. We are faced with tribulation in this world and there is no way around it. The peace of knowing that Jesus overcame the world should help us to be of good cheer. We don’t have to see life in a negative way. We can be assured that if we are in Him we are overcomers with Him. (Romans 8:37)

No Weapon Formed Against Us …

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17 NKJV)

We can be assured by the Word of God that whatever comes against us will not prosper. When it seems like we are being attacked at every angle there is assurance that all those attacks can not prosper against us. They will not prosper against us if we are truly servants of the Lord. Worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth. Truly following Him. He is our protection and strength. He is our everything.

Thank you Jesus!

A Future And A Hope

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11) NKJV

Remember that God has good things for us. Don’t allow the lies of the enemy make you believe otherwise. God thinks thoughts of peace toward us. We have a future and a hope in Him. Let this verse reassure you today.

Wisdom and Revelation

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, (‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ NKJV)

Like Jesus said:

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” (‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ NKJV)

We need the wisdom and revelation that comes from God. The apostle prayed this over the people. When we hear God’s word and get revelation from Him we start to understand our position in Him. We start to understand that we have authority over the enemy. We start to understand all that we have access to.

We are blessed. We just need to know what we have. The Holy Spirit will bring revelation if we continue to seek Him.

Loving God With Everything

Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬ NKJV)

Think about what it means to love Him with everything. Then ask yourself, “Am I loving God with everything?”

A Timely Word

But when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived. (Genesis 45:27 NKJV)

There is power in the word of God. When we receive that timely word of God our spirits revive. The Holy Spirit infuses us with His power. Maybe this word that was given to Jacob wasn’t straight from the scriptures, but it definitely was a God-thing. The word that God preserved his son Joseph revived his spirit. When we talk about the works of God something happens in our spirits. Our spirits are revived.

Keep listening because God is always trying to show us that He is with us. He is constantly giving a timely word. Don’t let the enemy keep you from hearing the good things God is doing.

Finding Our Purpose In Life

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ NKJV)

So many times we can get frustrated thinking and asking ourselves: why am I here? what is my purpose in life? One thing for sure is that our purpose in life is to give our lives to God.

If we concentrate on worshiping Him then our specific purpose will be revealed as the Holy Spirit reveals His word in our lives.
