No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NIV)
God’s Word will not return to Him void. His word will be fulfilled. This is an amazing promise from the Lord. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us! Notice how it is “in all these things.”
“In all these things” refers to trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or the sword. In other words, it doesn’t matter how difficult it gets we are more than conquerors. It doesn’t matter what trouble or hardship comes we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
The key here is “through Him.” If we continue to get closer and closer to God then we can use the authority He has given us. We can use that authority to stand up and take our place over anything that comes against us.
It’s not about what we can do. It’s about what Jesus has done through the cross, burial, and resurrection, and His power working in us to do the things above and beyond what we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20 NIV).
