“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

God has empowered us through His Spirit to be witnesses not to just witness. We can’t witness unless we are a witness. God was telling us that He wants us to be the new creation that He has made us through Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:16-17).

Too many times we get caught up in the doing and get frustrated. We know that the word of God tells us to be doers of the word and not hearers only. The truth of the matter is that we will not do unless we can be.

Dogs bark, cats meow, cows moo,… They do these things because that is what they are. It comes natural to them. It will become natural to us to do the work of a witness when we can be a witness. Be the new creation that God tells us that we are.

It is time that we come to a revelation of who we are in Christ because once we realize who we are in Christ we will do what we have been called to do.

The new creation that God has created in us through Christ is a new creation that has victory, that is more than a conqueror, and that can do all things through Christ. Glory to God that he has empowered us to be so that we can do what God has called us to do.
I challenge you to seek God for revelation on our new identity in Christ. You are important to Him and are valuable to the Lord.
